1. About us

The Footballer Vault (“we”, “us”) operates an online directory connecting football players with managers and scouts. We act as a platform only — we do not represent players as an agent and we are not party to any agreement between a player and a club.

2. Acceptance of terms

By submitting a player application you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, do not submit an application.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will always reflect the most recent version. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

3. Player eligibility

To be listed on The Footballer Vault you must:

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Not currently be represented by a FIFA-licensed (registered) agent. Under FA regulations it is illegal for us to advertise players who have a registered agent. If you acquire a registered agent at any point during your listing, you must notify us immediately and your profile will be removed. You will not be entitled to a refund in this circumstance.
• Provide accurate and truthful information in your application. We reserve the right to remove any listing where information is found to be false or misleading.

4. The application process

Submitting an application is free. Applications are reviewed manually by our team. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing a reason.

If your application is approved, we will contact you with details of the listing fee and next steps. Your profile will not go live until the listing fee has been received.

5. Listing fees and duration

Listing fees are agreed individually at the time of approval and cover a fixed listing period. The duration and fee applicable to your listing will be confirmed in writing before payment is taken.

Listing fees are non-refundable once a profile has been made live, except where we remove the listing due to our own error. Fees are also non-refundable if your listing is removed because you have acquired a registered agent or breached these terms.

At the end of your listing period your profile will be moved to “expired” status and will no longer be visible to managers. You may apply to renew your listing at the then-current fee.

6. Your responsibilities as a listed player

You agree to:

• Ensure all information on your profile is accurate and up to date for the duration of your listing.
• Notify us promptly of any material changes, including acquiring a registered agent, a change of contact details, or retirement from football.
• Not submit duplicate applications or attempt to create multiple profiles for the same person.
• Only provide contact details (email, phone) that you own and that you are happy to receive enquiries at.

7. Contact details and manager access

Your contact details (email address and phone number) are stored securely and are never displayed publicly. Managers and scouts who visit your profile may request to reveal your contact details directly on the page. By agreeing to have your contact details included on your profile, you consent to them being revealed to managers in this way.

We are not responsible for the conduct of managers or scouts who contact you through the directory, or for the outcome of any communication or agreement between you and a club.

8. Our right to remove or edit listings

We reserve the right to remove, suspend, or edit any listing at any time if we reasonably believe it:

• Contains false, misleading, or inaccurate information.
• Breaches these terms or any applicable law.
• Involves a player who has a FIFA-registered agent, whether declared or discovered after the listing went live.
• Has received a complaint that we consider to be well-founded.

Where a listing is removed for breach of these terms, no refund will be issued.

9. Managers and scouts

Browsing the directory is free and requires no account. By using the directory you agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to collect player data in bulk.
• Use contact details obtained through the site for any purpose other than genuine football recruitment enquiries.
• Harass, spam, or misrepresent yourself to players you contact through the directory.

We reserve the right to block access to the site for any user who misuses the directory.

10. Limitation of liability

The Footballer Vault is a directory and introduction platform. We do not verify the identity of managers or scouts who contact players, and we are not responsible for any outcome arising from introductions made through the site.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site, including but not limited to loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or any harm arising from contact made through the directory.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

11. Intellectual property

The content, design, and code of this site are the property of The Footballer Vault. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any part of the site without our written permission.

By submitting a profile photo or other media, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display that content on your public player profile for the duration of your listing.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
